LEWB’s T’s and C’s

1. We do not offer refunds after signing up and paying for a month’s tuition. However, we provide a trial period during which students can book three lessons to experience our teaching methods. Please note that these trial lessons are not free; students are required to pay for them.

2. Students must communicate with their designated teacher at least one hour in advance if they are unable to attend class. If a student fails to notify their teacher at least one hour before the lesson, it will be counted as an attended session.

3. All lessons must be completed within the month they are purchased. Any unused lessons will expire at the end of the month and cannot be carried over to the following month. It is the student's responsibility to schedule and attend their lessons within this timeframe.

4. Students are required to arrive on time for their lessons. If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the student will be charged for the full duration. Consistent tardiness may result in a review of the student's enrollment status.

5. In the event of a teacher's illness or emergency, LEWB reserves the right to reschedule the lesson or provide a substitute teacher. Students will be notified as soon as possible regarding any changes to their scheduled lessons.

6. We prioritise a safe and respectful learning environment. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour towards teachers or fellow students will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the programme without a refund.

7. Students are encouraged to provide feedback about their lessons and overall experience. Constructive criticism helps us improve our services and better meet the needs of our students.

8. Privacy is important to us. We collect personal information solely for the purposes of managing student accounts and improving our teaching practises. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

9. We encourage students to set specific goals for their learning journey. Establishing clear objectives can enhance motivation and focus during lessons. Whether it's improving a particular skill, preparing for a test, or simply expanding knowledge, having well-defined targets will guide both the student and the teacher in developing a personalised learning plan.

10. It is the student's responsibility to maintain an open line of communication with their teacher regarding progress and any questions or concerns that may arise. Regular check-ins can facilitate adjustments to teaching methods or lesson content to better align with the student’s learning style and needs.

11. While we strive to maintain a consistent schedule, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally arise that necessitate changes. Students are encouraged to remain flexible and adaptable, understanding that such changes are sometimes beyond our control.

12. We also emphasise the importance of practise outside of scheduled lessons. Engaging with the material through homework, practise exercises, and independent study between sessions will significantly enhance the learning experience and yield better results.

13. In instances where a student wishes to withdraw from the programme, we ask that a written notice be provided at least two weeks in advance. This will allow us to process the withdrawal smoothly and provide any necessary final updates regarding attendance and remaining lessons.

14. Students are encouraged to be actively involved in their learning process and to contribute positively to their own educational experience. Participation in class discussions and collaborative activities not only aids personal development but also enriches the learning environment for all students.

15. We appreciate parents or guardians of younger students to stay informed and engaged. Open discussions about the student's progress, challenges, and successes can help reinforce learning and show support outside of the classroom.

16. We believe in celebrating achievements, big or small. Whether it’s mastering a difficult topic or reaching a personal milestone, recognising these moments can foster a love for learning and inspire continued growth.

17. In order to ensure a smooth operation of our programme, students must adhere to the payment schedule outlined at the time of registration. Timely payments are essential for maintaining your enrolment and accessing lessons without interruption.

18. LEWB values diversity and inclusion and strives to create an environment where all students feel welcome and valued. We encourage students to embrace different perspectives and cultures, as this enriches the learning experience and fosters a sense of community.

19. We understand that life can sometimes interfere with learning commitments. Therefore, we recommend that students develop a consistent study schedule that accommodates their personal and academic responsibilities. Balancing lessons with other activities will contribute to a more holistic educational experience.

20. In the case of technical difficulties during online lessons, it is the student's responsibility to ensure that their internet connection and devices are functioning properly.

21. LEWB is committed to providing high-quality education and employs qualified teachers who are passionate about their subjects. Each teacher undergoes a rigorous selection process to ensure they meet our standards of excellence. Students are encouraged to communicate openly with their teachers to build a rapport that enhances learning.

22. By signing up for lessons with LEWB, students agree to abide by these terms and conditions and acknowledge that they have read and understood them fully.

23. LEWB may modify these terms and conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any significant changes, and continued enrolment will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
